In general

In short: the sooner, the better! That’s the only way to be make sure there’ll still be enough seats on your desired journey. We have limited capacity. However, it’s usually possible to book your ticket up to 12 hours before departure - provided seats are still available. If a trip is fully booked, it will be marked as “sold out”. In this case, you should select one of our other ski resorts. 

The price includes the return trip to the ski resort, the ski pass and a pretzel and a coffee.

No. You can simply present the PDF ticket and barcode on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also print your ticket and bring it with you, of course. Our Tour Guide will scan your ticket when you board the bus or during the journey.

Yes, you must! Due to Austrian entry requirements, you must carry your personal ID card or passport with you on the journey. A residence permit or just a copy of the identity card is not sufficient! Our Tour Guides will check the identification documents of all passengers prior to departure. Unfortunately, you’re unable to travel without a valid identification document.

In order for us to offer our tours at such good prices, we have to ensure a certain minimum utilisation rate for our buses. Unfortunately, we are therefore unable to completely rule out the possibility that tours may be cancelled in exceptional circumstances.
If a tour is unable to run, we’ll notify you via email at least 12 hours prior to departure. In this case, the full cost of your ticket will, of course, be refunded and you can choose another ski resort from our programme.

If it were up to us, we’d always take you to the mountains in perfect weather. However, we unfortunately can’t control the elements. Our tours usually run in any weather. The current and forecasted conditions for our ski resorts are available under the Weather tab.  
Tours don’t run in cases of extreme weather, such as storms or during the closure of a ski resort. If a tour is unable to run, we’ll notify you via email at least 12 hours prior to departure. In this case, the full cost of your ticket will, of course, be refunded and you can choose another ski resort from our itinerary.

Yes you can. All tours operated by Autobus Oberbayern can also be booked without a ski pass for € 40 during the week, or € 42 on weekends. This is the price of a return ticket.

For trips to Kitzbühel "operated by Geldhauser" the ticket can be booked for € 40. 

If you´d like to return on a different day you have to book two bus only tickets. Please pay attention to select the correct dates when booking your tickets.

Seats cannot be reserved. You have free choice of seats in our buses.

Yes, the following cancellation policy applies.

Cancellations must be made exclusively in writing by e-mail to info@skibusmuenchen.de

Tickets that are not used cannot be refunded. 

Tickets for our trips are transferrable and can also be used by people other than the person who purchased the tickets. 

 

You can change your ticket to another date in the current season free of charge up to 72 hours before departure. The destination cannot be changed and it is only possible to change from weekday to weekday and from weekend to weekend.

The destination cannot be changed. It is not possible to rebook journeys for the next season.

Tickets for our trips are transferable and can also be used by other persons than the ticket purchaser. It is not necessary to change the name on the ticket. 

The large display panel at ZOB shows the bus platform and the name of the ski resort. The electronic display at the bus stop also indicates the name of the ski resort. 

All the ski resorts we serve offer local ski/snowboard rental. Depending on the ski resort, your Skibus Muenchen ticket entitles you to a discount on the rental fee at selected providers. For more information, please refer to the relevant destination page on our website.

No, it is not possible to book a ski course through us. Please check with the local ski school in the respective ski resort. 

We highly recommend Sudelfeld and St. Johann in Tyrol for beginners, because there are a lot of easy slopes. 

Young people under the age of 18 can join our tours with the written permission of their parent or guardian. The consent form is available here.

Minimum age to join our tours without a parent or guardian is 14 years.

This consent form is to be completed in full, signed and voluntarily handed to the Tour Guide when boarding the bus. For legal reasons we are unfortunately unable to take you if the consent form is missing or incomplete.
 

While on the slopes, you can leave any unneeded items on the bus, which will be locked. However, we assume no liability for belongings / valuables left on the bus.  

Buses return to Munich from the ski resorts at around 4.30 pm. In the case of night skiing/sledging, they return to Munich at around 10.30 pm.

If you’ve forgotten or lost something on the bus, please send an email to info@skibusmuenchen.de. Please specify the date and destination of your tour, as well as the lost item. Please understand that we can only process your Lost & Found enquiry during our office hours, Monday to Friday.

We offer a discount on the ticket price for group bookings. The discount is not valid for trips at the weekend.

  • Group booking for 4 people = 4% discount on the ticket price
  • Group booking for 5 or more people = 5% discount on the ticket price

The tickets must be purchased in one booking in order to receive the discount. The discount will be deducted from the total price on the overview page in the last stage of the booking process.

Club outing, company away day or stag party? For groups of 20 people or more, we’re happy to provide individual quotes for a day trip to a ski resort. Please submit your request via email to info@skibusmuenchen.de.  

Unfortunately, for safety reasons you’re not allowed to bring pets (dogs, cats, etc.) on our tours.
