On Pitztal Glacier which provides best snow conditions and 22 km of ski slopes and 6 lifts, you can enjoy skiing from September to May, whilst savouring the fabulous winter landscape. There are special facilities for families, such as safe chair lifts for children and the Children’s World with magic carpet, nursing slope and adventure playground and a tubing and sliding arena.
The snow park of Pitztal Ski Area offers a wide range of exciting facilities varying in difficulty for snowboarders and freestylers, including wave tracks, kickers, boxes and rails, for action and pure pleasure on the slope.
Numerous pristine powder snow slopes are another special highlight for skiers and snowboarders. For winter sports enthusiasts who have not yet gained any experience in freeriding, it is recommended to book a guide who is knowledgeable of the area and will lead them safely through the snow-covered mountains.

In the highest café in Austria, perched high at an altitude of 3,440 metres, you are welcome to sip a cup of coffee whilst soaking up the breathtaking views sitting back on the cantilevered terrace.
